Patriotic Cabin

I've never felt completely comfortable painting buildings but I'm pretty happy with how this has turn out.  I might play with it a little more but for now I'm going to live with it and decide what it needs.  I know I need to add some shading to the bunting but want to wait until this layer of paint dries.

  5. Thank you Hilda. I worked very hard to leave parts of the painting with very little detail. That not my norm...but I would like for it to be the direction I go in the future.

  6. You painted this cabin beautifully! I particularly like the way you painted the trees (a subject I always find challenging!). They look so soft and lovely.

    1. Thank you Theresa. I tried to leave the foliage loose so that it didn't become a focal point.
